Thinking about the camera idea, how about using the orb from the McFarlane Dragon ? Only problem will be that the base has to have a good weight if want to tilt it or move it for better reception....

Now that's a good idea... replace the orb with one of the small web cams. The cable can run down the back easily enough. The dragon is fairly steady, but can be easily glued down onto a nice base.

The only problem I see is trying to find another one of those dragons. That one always sold out first. But a "dragon's eye" camera... I like the whole idea!
